New In Town & Looking for a Friend
Here's a little about me, I was born May 21, 1950 2 am in Oakland, California, joined the U.S. Army in 1968 right after Graduation from High School. I did a three year tour of duty in the Army and one year in Vietnam.
I got married right after I left Vietnam in 1969, I was 19 years old. I had two daughters and the marriage lasted until December 1981.
My oldest daughter passed on and my surviving daughter has blessed me with three beautiful Granddaughters. They are the only women that light of my life.
I have worked all over the U.S. on various engineer projects which is one of the prime reasons why I'm still single, most Women would not like to move as much as I have in the last 25 years. But now is the time in my life that I have to refocus my goals and consider what I must do too attract and keep a good woman. I think it's going to have to start with myself remaining in one place and staying with one company.
I know it's going to take some time and that it will not be easy but that is my goal.
I'm really just an average person, I work, I play. I love my family, I enjoy photograph it's always been a passion of mine, I love exploring new places and talking to people, that's why I traveled as much as I did in the last 25 to 35 years. Before I became a Designer I work as a Railroad Conductor and Brakeman for Southern Pacific, I worked only on freight trains at that time for 10 years. I like going out and dancing to a live band, going to concerts, movies, art and music festivals just about anything outdoors. Riding bikes on the weekend, catching a show in Las Vegas, I'm not a big gambler but IA do enjoy the shows there.
I'm fairly easy going sometimes I like just staying at home, I do cook and I think I'm pretty good, damn good, I only follow two sport fairly regular and that's football and boxing. Sometimes I just like staying home doing nothing but watching T.V, or reading the Sunday paper or a book every now and then.
I'm also a news junkie and I do follow current events, mostly political, I'm not into the so-call Hollywood Stars, I could not care less about what they say or do outside of the movie I watch.
So that's a little about me and there's a lot in between the lines.

I have been married twice. I am currently seperated now. I wil be divorcing again. Both of my husbands thought I was to do everything. I was to work, clean, cook, pay bills and maintain the vehicles alone. I told em if I am to do it by myself then I will be by myself. I have two children. My daughter almost grown (16). My son 13 thinks he's grown (lives with his dad). I have a good paying job. I have always been a tomboy. That's kinda my downfall. I usually go out with men who I know either form work or through friends. Not a good idea. I would like to be treated like a woman.
