A very active individual I enjoy hiking, skiing, rafting, and... well, you get the picture…. I am also at ease simply being at home or out for a night at the theater and dinner at one of San Diego‘s finer dining establishments.

I am hopeful of meeting someone to share active life experiences; someone with some common interests; someone willing to explore interests of mine that they may not have; and someone with interests of their own that I can explore.

Non-serial killer/surfer looking for same

Here's me: I was born void of any genetic propensity toward domestic skills, meaning I cannot cook, clean or do laundry. I have proficiency with regards to operating a can opener (certification pending). I am also not easily intimidated by microwave ovens. I was introduced to a stove some years back and still marvel at how it can improve the taste quality of many dishes. In short, I have no redeemable qualities. I tried telling this to my now ex husband. Since he did not speak English, at the time, it took almost 15 years for him to decipher this reality. This seems to suggest that I gravitate toward slow learners, and people in need of their citizenship.

I enjoy playing my guitar and singing, all types of music except opera. I am easy to get along with and I am really funny. I am currently finishing my PhD in Psychology. I am a vegetarian; a behavior pattern that originally morphed out of my inability to cook. The pattern eventually turned into a way of life and one that has kept me exceptionally healthy for many years.

I'm a single RN who's lived in San Diego for 2 and a half years and have yet to find the right person. I'm fun to hang out with, positive, funny, open, caring and ambitious. Also, if I am anything, I am reliable. I have very low tolerance for flaky people. If I give you my word, I will always follow-through with it. I'm a big believer that integrity is the highest form of respect because reliability is hard to come by.

Overall, I am more of an artsy person. I'm currently getting into photography. I've also really developed a passion for cooking this past year. If you were to know anything about me, just know I am a major foodie! People eat to live, but I live to eat. Seriously, no joke. It really is a favorite thing of mine to find the best food around, and hunt for anything new that I haven't tried before so I can savor it. I could do this all day, every day, all around the clock if I wanted to. If I have good company with me, even better! Partying and clubbing is not for me, although I'll go along for the ride once in a while. But mostly, I like things like music, poetry, plays, movies, and literature. My goal in life is to explore different cultures and gain as much experience as possible. I'm always open to experience.

When I am passionate about something, I am all in. I tend to run my life more with my heart than my head. I'm a total romantic. I absolutely love anything foreign to me. People from different countries always intrigue me, and I am naturally drawn to them. I like going to new places, and seeing things I've never seen before. If you can successfully stimulate my mind and mesmerize me with brand new experiences, then I am all yours...

OK...well l'm a great guy (what you need more, damn, okay)...l work in downtown San Diego for a global firm and I live about 4 blocks from the beach. I am also pursuing a graduate degree at UCSD.
