I am a firm believer that we are each the creators of our own universe and that our environment reflects our own thoughts. That being said, I often find myself surrounded by wonderful people, beautiful places, and amazing opportunities.
My biggest passion is travel. I have been to South America three times, once, after hitchhiking from the United States on a trip that took 21 months. I just recently returned from a two month trip in eastern europe and I am currently working on an independent documentary entitled: The Map Makers: Project Colombia. At the moment however, I cannot begin to describe how happy I am that it is summer in Seattle!

Well….my friends say that I am vivacious, funny, and full of life, great looking and a joy to be with! I have to agree with them; after all I told them WHAT to say! I really do just love my life. I retired this last July from an engineering firm in Bellevue and it's wonderful! I was an electrical designer and my co-workers were wrong...I don't miss it for even ONE minute. I live near Granite Falls and love going up the Mt. Loop Hwy for hikes or mushroom hunting. Music is big in my life and enjoy going to Tulalip on Thursdays to dance to the Afrodisiacs, a disco group. I have three adult children and a load of grandchildren that I adore. My kids are fun to be around as they TRY to keep up with me.
In February went to New Orleans to eat the best fried chicken in the U.S. at Willie Mae’s Scotch House. I saw it featured on the Food Channel and my mouth watered until I tried it. One of my friends was raised in New Orleans and told me the other things to do in the “Big Easy” besides eating fried chicken!
Laughter is important in my life and I did some stand up comedy when the children were younger. I have been working on some new material and being “older” gives me a rich source of material.
If you are interested in meeting me for a cup of coffee in Everett or Lk Stevens that would be super. I just want to live life to the fullest and have FUN!
