Well, I'm fairly shy at first, but I open up quickly. I look like I'm 21, even though I'm 38 (I feel like I’m 21, too, so don’t let the 38 scare you :). I love to have fun and try new things. I love 70's and 80's music and movies (records, 8-tracks, and vhs-I guess I’m a little retro) and animals (a dog and eight cats). I also like arcade games (got 3 :), pinball machines (1 :), and theme parks (0 :( ). I enjoy being outside and walking in the park, especially by a creek or river. And I’ve liked to canoe and throw frisbees since I was a kid. I’ve been a backstage playhouse assistant and later, a children’s magician and magic teacher. I went back to college so I could teach. I’ve taught 2nd and 6th grades plus high school, and was a high school vice principal. I’ve been a vegetarian for 16 years-it’s cool if you’re not-just something I do :). Now, I run an internet business selling blueprints. It lets me set my own hours, which is cool. It’s nice having that freedom. What I really miss is someone special. I'd like to find a woman who can laugh a lot, be silly, and have fun but who also enjoys relaxing-like camping and looking up at the stars or just curling up on the sofa and watching a good movie. I've been going to Santa Rosa Junior College with the help of my parents for about a year and a half now, but I'm taking a break from it for a while to save up some money for later semesters. I'm love gaming; I've been playing video games pretty much before I could talk. I'll always be a die-hard Nintendo fan, but I've been seduced by that illustrious white and green box that is the 360. The cut and dry PS3, ehh... not as much. Other than that, I love watching movies, listening to music, reading whenever I get the chance (which isn't much, lately), riding my bike, hiking, hanging out with friends, and anything else that might perk my interest. I've had a number of long distance relationships in the past, none of which have really panned out in the long run. So I thought I'd give this site and try and see what happens.
