First and foremost, I’m a small-town country gal, and I am fairly new to this big Bay Area.

I tend to be shy and hold back when I meet new people, and I definitely enjoy taking the time to get to know them. Once I know you, my personality changes considerably, and I tend to think for the better. However, I have a fairly sarcastic sense of humor --when it comes to things I say.

Also, if I am anything, I am reliable. I have very low tolerance for flaky people. If I give you my word, I will always follow-through with it. I'm a big believer that integrity is the highest form of respect because reliability is hard to come by.

Overall, I am more of an artsy person. I'm currently getting into photography. I've also really developed a passion for cooking this past year. If you were to know anything about me, just know I am a major foodie! People eat to live, but I live to eat. Seriously, no joke. It really is a favorite thing of mine to find the best food around, and hunt for anything new that I haven't tried before so I can savor it. I could do this all day, every day, all around the clock if I wanted to. If I have good company with me, even better! Partying and clubbing is not for me, although I'll go along for the ride once in a while. But mostly, I like things like music, poetry, plays, movies, and literature. My goal in life is to explore different cultures and gain as much experience as possible. I'm always open to experience.

When I am passionate about something, I am all in. I tend to run my life more with my heart than my head. I'm a total romantic. I absolutely love anything foreign to me. People from different countries always intrigue me, and I am naturally drawn to them. I like going to new places, and seeing things I've never seen before. Lonely looking for a friend

Ok I never thought I would do this but here we are. I have been painting in my new place since 12 am and listening to some music, laughing at David Sedaris clips and wondering why I dont have someone with whom to share all this silliness with.
I would just like to meet a nice lady, with whom to have nice conversations with. I am educated and can speak on most topics even the abstract. I recently got out of an 18 yr old relationship and am new to Houston. I have one friend to speak of and my ex. We are still very good friends but she is moving on as best as she can. My other friend is a bit young and doesnt fully get me. I am not looking for a freaky relationship. Just a friend to spend time with and see where it leads. For example she would come over now help me paint, lol have a bottle of wine, laugh chat and maybe go for a long drive in the middle of the night. I am fully respectful of a lady. I spend half of my life with the same one and am the better for having done so. I love the Opera, classical music, but appreciate just about anything. I try to get to the museum often. Im not big on tv I prefer to be out doing something, or if Iam home with that specail someone I prefer us to be doing something fun.
