There are times at work when I just kinda stand around and look at the applications that people have turned in. There's a section titled "Sell Yourself" where they want an essay explaining why they would be the perfect fit for my company. That's what this feels like. I'm supposed to write a witty, concise essay detailing why you want to meet me. Here goes nothin, I suppose.
I'm a 29 year old bartender for a local sports bar. I know my occupation seems a bit aimless, but my reason for keeping it is quite sound: it requires no real commitment. I can pick up and leave with a simple 2 weeks notice. No contracts; no guilt. Not that I'm the flighty sort, I just enjoy the ability to travel.
My dream is to own a bar on a beach in Belize, or Greece, or Thailand (not the prostitution capitol of Singapore, but one of the islands), or Italy.
Money means very little to me as long as I have enough to pay my bills. I'm not all that materialistic and try to live as minimally as possible. I've been called a new-age hippie.
